"Look out for #1"

            "If it feels good, do it..."

   "If you're not hot or ripped, you're nobody..."

                     " If it doesn't hurt anybody else, what's the big deal?"

         "It doesn't matter what you believe in, as long as you're sincere..."

If you're a teenager, these may be some of the messages you're struggling with. Or maybe it's a different message that's holding you back from experiencing all that God would want you to. Whether someone is feeding them to you, or you are feeding them to yourself, God wants to renovate your mind:

Romans 12:2 "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God RENOVATE you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

God wants better for us than we even want for ourselves. He wants us to live a life that has been renovatd from this world's thinking to His thinking. He desires transformation. As Max Lucado wrote, "God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way."

And that is the goal of RENOVATE, the Senior High Ministry of La Croix Church--helping students be open to God renovating their lives so they look more and more like Jesus every day.

Free food! Great music! Relevant teaching! Life-changing small groups! You can expect all this and more on Sunday evenings at Renovate. We meet every Sunday evening, 5:30-7:30pm.
