If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to get out of the boat
Far too many of us have put our faith in a casual Christianity that never compels us to leave our comfort zones. But, deep within our hearts we know that Christ has not called us to comfort, but to an exciting, sacrificial and overwhelmingly fulfilling faith. In If You're Going to Walk on Water John Ortberg teaches us how to step out of the "boat" of casual Christianity so that we can faithfully follow the Lord who is calling us out onto the risky, exciting waters of the high seas. Let Pastor Ortberg teach you how to leave your comfort zone for a remarkable life of faith.

What is Focus on the Family's The Truth Project®?
In a recent study, the Barna Research Group revealed a stunning statistic that continues to reverberate throughout the evangelical world. Only 9 percent of professing Christians have a biblical worldview.
Because of this, today's believers live very similarly to non-believers. A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced, we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life's ultimate purpose really is. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation.
To counter this slide within the body of Christ, we are launching one of the most ambitious and powerful projects in the history of our ministry—Focus on the Family's The Truth Project.
The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This home study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. For more info go to

Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World
The life of a woman today isn't really all that different from that of Mary and Martha in the New Testament. Like Mary, you long to sit at the Lord's feet...but the daily demands of a busy world just won't leave you alone. Like Martha, you love Jesus and really want to serve him...yet you struggle with weariness, resentment, and feelings of inadequacy.
Then comes Jesus, right into the midst of your busy Mary/Martha life---and he extends the same invitation he issued long ago to the two sisters of Bethany. Tenderly he invites you to choose "the better part"---a joyful life of "living-room" intimacy with him that flows naturally into "kitchen service" for him.
How can you make that choice? Weaver shows how all of us---Marys and Marthas alike---can draw closer to our Lord, deepening our devotion, strengthening our service, and doing both with less stress and greater joy.

Conveying the assurance of God's love, The Remarkable Women of the Bible provides nourishment from a woman's point of view and connects today's woman with the source of fulfillment that sustained her sisters in Bible times---a relationship with God.
Ephesians: - Wholeness for a Broken World
Broken marriages, shattered friendships, racial divisions, war between nations-we live in a fractured world. How can the pieces be put back together? In Ephesians Paul lifts the veil from the future to allow us to see God's plan to unite everyone and everything in Christ. Studying this book will renew your hope.
The Strong-Willed Wife
In today's world, the Bible's design for marriage is under constant attack.
It seems that women receive two very different messages: The church teaches submission to all God-given authority, while our culture encourages independence from anyone or anything. And while the idea of submission is tough for any woman to accept, it can be even more difficult for those with strong personalities. All of this can leave many wondering if submission in marriage is even relevant to today's woman.
Author Debbie L. Cherry believes that authority is still essential to a healthy, vibrant marriage. Join Debbie as she takes an honest look at one of the Bible's most misunderstood teachings. By tackling the common concerns and misconceptions that distort the truth, Dr. Cherry presents the scriptural concept of authority and how it's designed to be a vital part of a loving, secure relationship.

What great things doe God have in store for you?

Mark
God has arrived. In this, the earliest of the four Gospels, Mark vigorously defends the claim that Jesus was the true Messiah. Only, Mark explains, most people rejected Him because He didn't arrive as the glorious warrior-king they expected but rather as a suffering servant. The intensity of Mark's straightforward writing and his enthusiasm for Christ's gospel bring us a powerful message of salvation, inspiration, and encouragement. God's Word slices away layers of pretense from our lives to show us how we can be more like Christ. This in-depth book study will help you understand the context and meaning of the Bible so you can apply it in your life.
What’s so Amazing about Grace?
It’s one thing to talk about grace; it’s another to taste its power. Through candid video interviews, Philip Yancey integrates true-life face and experiences that will rock your preconceptions, get you thinking and talking, and help you discover why grace is more amazing than you’ve ever dreamed.
Listening to God
God is not a speechless God. He speaks to you so that you can hear His message, receive it, and understand what He wants you to do. When you realize that He can communicate with you personally, directly and explicitly, listening to God becomes vitally important. Unfortunately, most of us don’t know how to listen to God.
Charles Stanley believes that no spiritual discipline is more influential and essential than listening to God. In this study, he identifies the ways in which God gets attention and speaks, how to differentiate between God’s voice and Satan’s voice, how to actively listen to God and how to sit in God’s presence.
Revelation
In every age people have felt sure that the book of Revelation described events in their time. As nations arm themselves for war, we think of Armageddon. As evil rulers grow in power, we look for the antichrist. As the powers of darkness threaten to overwhelm us, we cry, "Come, Lord Jesus!" Amid the uncertainties of our age, Revelation assures us of the triumph of God.
The Life of Paul
Paul's life was never dull. First appearing in the New Testament as a violent enemy of Christ, Paul later went on to not only put his faith in the risen Lord but to pen thirteen letters of the New Testament--in the midst of being beaten, shipwrecked, snake bitten, imprisoned, and chased out of town. Let Charles Swindoll be your guide as you travel down the road to Damascus with Paul and discover the passion for Jesus that drove this hero of the faith.
