QUESTIONS

About God
God is in loving pursuit of everyone, whether they know that or not. How does this fact inspire your praise? Read Jeremiah 29:4-7. What does this tell you about God's character? How is this different from how people might think about how they should relate to the world?

About Me
How many people would describe you as being full of grace? What steps might you take to be seen more like that?

Community
People need connection more now than ever since we’re facing an epidemic of loneliness. How can you serve them in the middle of what you love? How can something you love and find joy in be a place to connect with or serve others? Read 1 Thessalonians 2:6-8. Who might God be calling you to share both the gospel and your life with? What would that practically look like?

Mission
Read Colossians 4:2-6. Who most needs your conversation seasoned with salt this week?

Action
Think of three places of influence you have: family, work, friends, church, etc. Then think of practical ways you can make the most of every opportunity in those places this week. In this series we said that YOUR JOY IS A PLACE: -TO MEET WITH GOD -TO WORSHIP -TO MAKE THE EARTH LIKE HEAVEN -TO GIVE A GIFT TO OTHERS What do you find joy in and how can it place for each of those 4 things listed above?

Father God, we praise you for the gift of common grace all around us, and for making us the salt and light in your world. We confess that we often shrink back out of fear rather than sharing the joy of doing life with you. Thank you for Jesus’ example of how to share and enjoy life with others, while also talking about matters of faith. May you show us practical ways to connect with others and share from the overflow of our joy. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
