Read Ephesians 4:11-12 What does it tell you about God that he calls us to equip each other for works of service, instead of just having a few "professionals" do the work?

Where in your life have you had positive experiences of being deeply connected to and responsible to you others? Where have you had bad experiences? How are those experiences currently shaping how you live now?

Community
Who in your community do you feel a real sense of responsibility to? Who do you think feels a sense of responsibility to you? Where have you had to "bear with one another in love"?

Mission
Read Ephesians 4:14-16 What is your sense of the work that you have to play in the body of Christ? How is that going in your life lately?

Action
Take time to name and write down what your sense of your calling is in this season of your life. What can you do on a weekly basis to "live a life worthy of the calling you have received" and be responsible to others in the Body of Christ?

Jesus, thank you to that you offer yourself for the sake of others. You lived, died, and rose again for he glory of the Father and for the love of your people. Make us like you Jesus. Make us mature and help us to live a life worthy of the calling we have received. Amen.
