Action
Memorize the passage from James and/or several of the verses from Proverbs this week. Let the Holy Spirit speak to you as you go through the week about where your anger may be unchecked. Ask God to take your anger from you when it comes up, maybe using the prayer "Jesus you are slow to anger and abounding in love, make me like you."
Jesus, you chose to reject anger towards a humanity that rebells against you and you chose to love deeply instead. Make us like you through your Holy Spirit. We cannot give our anger to you, we need you to take it from us. Work in us the righteousness that you desire so that we can living like you in the world. Amen.
